Shellegance

Shellegance is a license to indulge all of your mermaid, shell collecting fantasies, but in a fresh and elegant even adult way. Lucie De Moyencourt is no stranger to our CS&Co range, having been the first of three artists to launch our range three years ago with her illustrations of Cape Town in black ink. Seven years ago Lucie started making ceramic shells as wall hanging decorative plates. These were made for her own courtyard, part inspired by Matisse cut outs, part inspired by a lifetime of collecting shells by the sea. Each shell is entirely unique in both painting and shape just like natural seashells. Each of these shells were photographed and hand picked to be part of this unique wallpaper range. Shellegance has evolved into an internationally recognised highly collectible object gracing homes of many influential designers and tastemakers around the world.
