SHOPPING CENTRE
Woodstock Quarter
Interior Designer Greg Viljoen of Design-Lab presented us with a brief to wallpaper all the large walls in the open courtyard, apartment reception, lift lobby and parking entrance of the new Woodstock Quarter.
The Design
The objective was to create a feeling of jungle greenery but without being too literal. Greg wanted this to be juxtaposed with a concrete effect, creatively executed to take in the uniqueness of the Woodstock area.
The Execution
Our deconstructed concrete design entitled ‘Guarded’ was selected, coupled with a distinctively Cara Saven mural scene of tropical flora with an etching style landscape background of a palm tree jungle. The two design were matched up by a very specific cool grey Pantone colour.
